Now you must be thinking, what items can you ship? Our package forwarding service lets you ship a huge range of products. However, there are some items that we do not ship due to customs laws and airlines or delivery company restrictions. The list of unacceptable items depends on which country you want to ship the items. Continue reading the article to find out the unacceptable and prohibited items.
Unacceptable Items
The below mentioned items are not accepted for shipping by My Package Forwarder (regardless of destination, domestic or international). If you send these items to us, they will be returned to the sender.
- Medical devices not approved by FDA
- Prescription medications, including veterinary and dental
- Prescription medical devices
- Human growth hormones, prohormones, steroids or synthetic versions, stem cell treatments
- Following items without FED-approved labelling or English labelling – food, cosmetics, non-prescription medications, dietary supplements
- Perishable items
- Any supplement, drug, cosmetic, or food with a Consumer Safety Advisory Warning
- Poisonous substances
- Infectious products
- Toxic substances that include inhalation hazards
- Fireworks, explosives, gun powder, matches, or flares
- Lighters that have fuel
- Diesel, gasoline, or another type of fuels
- Radioactive products or elements
- Self-balancing boards
- Lab reagents, medical specimens, cultures, biologics
Fire extinguishers - Oxidizing agents
- Guns, firearms, and accessories, including replicas
- Bayonets, ammunition, and magazine
- Tasers and stun guns
- Gas mask filters and gas mask
- Pepper spray and tear gas
- Law enforcement striking weapons like billy clubs, batons, and saps
- Handcuffs
- Helmets, body armors, or any other personal protection articles that have ballistic or kevlar ratings
- Government uniforms, badges, and IDs
- Equipment of police or military training
- Infrared, thermal imaging, or night vision devices
- Laser pointing, rifle scopes, and aiming devices for different firearms
- Damaged batteries
- Illegal or contraband substances
- Gambling accessories and devices
- Lottery tickets
- Rough diamonds
- Lock picking devices
- Coral
- Human remains
- Leather or skin of alligators, stingrays, snakes, crocodiles, and other amphibians or reptiles
- Beluga or sturgeon caviar
- Leather, fur, or skin of any animal
- Agricultural products including dead or live plants, certain seeds, untreated or unfinished soil, and wood
- Items that contain animal products controlled under Marine Mammal Protection Act, Endangered Species Act, or the ones that require a permit under CITES
- Tobacco products
- Any unidentifiable substance, material, or chemical
Restricted Items
The list of restricted items depends on the carrier and the country. Moreover, make sure to contact your local authorities in advance in order to avoid issues related to customs and duties.
- Hazardous materials including the ones with alcohol like nail enamels, hand sanitizers, or fragrance mists
- Uninstalled lithium batteries
- Jewlery and watches for high-value. These items depend on the carrier as there may be restriction over jewlery and watches over a particular amount
- Supplements (Some supplements may be considered medicine, drugs, or vitamins depending on the country and may have shipping restrictions)
